Com ja \u00e9s tradicional des que \u00e9s a la seu del Raval, la Filmoteca de Catalunya no tanca per vacances, i aquests mesos de juliol, agost i setembre presenta un cicle que arriba amb banda sonora i coreografia.<\/p>\n
\u25baUn rep\u00e0s cronol\u00f2gic pel bo i millor del musical amb una visi\u00f3 \u00e0mplia, global i diversa. Una seixantena de t\u00edtols que abasten exemples can\u00f2nics del g\u00e8nere, amb una forta pres\u00e8ncia del cinema nord-americ\u00e0 per la seva tradici\u00f3: de The Jazz Singer (1927), primer film sonor, fins a La La Land (2016), passant per cl\u00e0ssics com Top Hat (1935), An American in Paris (1951) o My Fair Lady (1964) i rareses com One from the Heart (1981) de Francis Ford Coppola o Pennies from Heaven (1981) de Herbert Ross, que van tornar al g\u00e8nere quan estava en hores baixes a principis dels vuitanta, o la inesperada incursi\u00f3 de Woody Allen amb Everyone Says I Love You (1996). Per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 hi ha en la selecci\u00f3 films procedents d\u2019altres latituds com Alemanya (Viktor und Viktoria, 1933), Egipte (Weddad, 1936), el Regne Unit (The Red Shoes, 1948), M\u00e8xic (V\u00edctimas del pecado, 1951), el Jap\u00f3 (Jazz musume tanjo, 1957), Espanya (Diferente, 1961), Fran\u00e7a (Une chambre en ville, 1982; Jeanne et le gar\u00e7on formidable, 1998) o l\u2019Argentina (Sur, 1988).<\/p>\n

\u25baInevitablement, hi haur\u00e0 un record a una de les figures cabdals el musical que recentment ha desaparegut, Stanley Donen, de qui es podran veure On the Town (1949), The Royal Wedding (1951), Singin\u2019 in the Rain (1952), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954), It\u2019s Always Fair Weather (1955), Funny Face (1957) o Damn Yankees (1958). A l\u2019agost l\u2019homenatge a Donen s\u2019eixamplar\u00e0 amb films d\u2019altres g\u00e8neres de la seva brillant filmografia, com Charade (1963) o Indiscreet (1958), en el cicle El feeling de Stanley Donen.<\/p>\n
